Biography
J. Michael Druhan, Jr. was a founding Partner of Druhan & Tyler Attorneys at Law. He passed away in 2021 at the age of 79, and the firm remains grateful for his decades of service to his clients and to the Mobile legal community.
Michael had an active civil trial and appellate practice in both federal and state courts, and his practice areas included Probate, Banking and Finance, Corporate Law, Real Estate, Municipal Bonds and Securities, Election Law, Secured Transactions, Governmental, Election, Campaign and Political Law, Election and Campaign Finance Law.
He was admitted in the following jurisdictions: Alabama and U.S. District Court, Southern and Middle Districts of Alabama (1967); U.S. Supreme Court (1971); U.S. Tax Court (1972); U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit (1973); and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit (1982).
Michael served as the 2014 president of the Mobile Bar Association. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Spring Hill College and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Alabama.
